The Mean Well SDR-960-48 is a powerful DIN rail switching power supply with an extremely space-saving design and a width of just 110mm. This model can be powered with an AC input range of 180 to 264 V (derating at 180 – 200 VAC) and delivers a regulated output power rating of 960 W at a current of 20 A and a secondary voltage of 48 V DC. The MeanWell SDR-960 series power supplies can withstand a high peak load of up to 130% of rated power for three seconds and also feature parallel connection of up to four devices (or 3840 W).

The entire Mean Well product range is designed for direct mounting on DIN RAIL TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15. The top-hat rail power supplies are therefore suitable for clean and quick installation in distribution boxes and control cabinets. In addition, the MeanWell SDR-960 series is equipped with an active PFC function as well as a DC-OK relay contact, which ensures a highly secure and stable power supply. With the fanless design, Mean Well power supply series ensures quiet operation with high work efficiency. This means that the convection-cooled switching power supplies of the MeanWell SDR-960 series can achieve a high efficiency of up to 94% with low power loss.

In addition, Mean Well’s DIN rail power supply range offers protection against short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature, and meets regulatory immunity and safety standards according to UL508, EN61000-6-2, EN61000-3-2 in industrial environments.
