The room sensor is a completely new solution and only requires a power connection (is normally placed in a conventional switch box). The connection to the base module, i.e. the heating control, takes place via a LoRa radio connection.
Don’t worry, this isn’t a constant radio connection. This means that the connection is only established when measurement data is sent to the heating control. Only when the room sensor sends data to the heating control it is able to receive changes, otherwise it “sleeps”. The following measurements are carried out:
-
Humidity
-
Room temperature
-
Floor temperature via Infrarot
-
All measurements are sent twice per hour to the heating control (LoRaWAN Version every 5 minutes to eusatec Cloud service)
